Claims
Community Insurance Corporation manages all of the claims filed against owner municipalities and school districts. This includes claims reporting and adjusting, as well as managing the attorneys hired to defend the owners.

Community Insurance Corporation’s claims team utilizes a claims philosophy designed to protect its policy owners from frivolous lawsuits. Under this philosophy, the company promptly settles claims with undisputed liability, but aggressively defends claims with disputed liability.

Personnel Policies and Procedures Review
Community Insurance Corporation offers a legal review of municipal and school districts’ personnel policies and procedures. Through this review, they receive suggestions on how to update and improve their policies and procedures in order to comply with the ever-changing laws governing personnel.

Advanced Law Enforcement Risk Training
The Advanced Law Enforcement Training (ALERT) program provides training on key law enforcement issues including Fourth Amendment, vehicle operations, jail operations and communications. In addition, the company uses a state-of-the art firearms training simulator.  The system, PRISim Portable Trainer Pro, provides realistic use-of-force training that develops the skills required for law enforcement in high-risk environments.  It is free for Community Insurance Corporation member municipalities.

Video Loss Prevention
Community Insurance Corporation’s Online Safety Training Program incorporates text slides, along with streaming video and audio, to guide users through safety training modules. There is a wide range of safety-related topics and users access the online safety program via www.communityinsurancecorporation.com with their pre-assigned user name and password.
