Successful 2016 A.L.E.R.T. Law Enforcement Challenge Held in Portage County

Close to 30 Law Enforcement Departments from Around Wisconsin Competed in 5th Annual Event
Wisconsin law enforcement professionals put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities. To keep them as safe as possible on the job, they continually train to be prepared for what they encounter on the streets.
On October 5, 2016, close to 30 departments from around the state gathered for the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) and Community Insurance Corporation's:
5th Annual Advanced Law Enforcement Risk Training (A.L.E.R.T.) Law Enforcement Challenge.

This year’s event involved a timed physical and shooting skills challenge. Prizes were awarded to top finishers and cash prizes awarded to the top finishers' departments. The 2016 winners were:
